Celebrities have tremendous influence in the U.S. They impact the clothes we wear, the food we eat and the hairstyles we choose. As it turns out, they’re also trendsetters when it comes to baby names.
Compared to the average American, celebrities are more experimental when it comes to naming their children (see: Blue Ivy). While some celebrity baby names catch on like fire others fail to gain traction.
Using data from the Social Security Administration, MooseRoots ranked the most popular celebrity baby names since 2000. Most of these names were either unpopular or nonexistent before getting their celebrity bump.
Without further ado, here are the trendiest celebrity baby names.

Meadow

The name Meadow was almost nonexistent in the U.S. before Paul Walker announced the birth of his daughter in 1998. Since then, the name has risen in popularity. After a drop in the late 2000s, the name rebounded in 2014 after Walker’s death.
Bodhi
