• S01962: Submitted by Sen. Addabbo. The bill aimed to amend the rules surrounding the definition of wager and the licensing of mobile sports wagering operators. Addabbo wished to expand mobile sports wagering to have 14 operators by January 31, 2024 and 16 operators by January 31, 2025. The tax rate would adjust depending on number of operators. The bill was read twice and ordered to be printed and committed to the Committee on Racing, Gaming and Wagering.

2022

• A08658: Submitted by Asm. Gary Pretlow. This is the assembly equivalent to S08471. The bill dies in committee.
• S08471: Submitted by Sen. Addabbo. This is similar to S01962 (2023, see above), but aimed sports wagering to have 14 operators by January 21, 2023 and 16 by January 31, 2024. Tax would begin at 10% of sports wagering revenue. The bill dies in committee.

2021

• A01257:Submitted by Asm. Gary Pretlow. This is the assembly equivalent of S01883 (see below). The bill dies in committee.
