Donald Trump says a lot of things (he knows words; he has the best words, he claims). But sweeping generalizations don’t go over well with middle school English teachers, and they also don’t go over well with the general public — especially when you are in a race for the White House. So when Trump cites “many people” as a source, voters notice that there isn’t really anything concrete backing up the claim.

Now they’re taking to social media to mock Trump for the over-generalized statements that he makes and the anonymous sources that he cites. Aside from #PhelpsFace, it’s one of the top-trending memes on social media right now. Some are using it to criticize Trump while others are using it to make jokes. Altogether, it’s today’s go-to hashtag for Trump-trolling.
