Dapper Labs, a blockchain and software development firm and the original developer behind Flow blockchain, has set the launching date of its highly anticipated LaLiga Golazos non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace.
In an October 6 press release, Dapper Labs confirmed that its LaLiga Golazos, an NFT platform based on the famous Spanish soccer league, will launch exclusively on Flow blockchain on October 27. Dapper Labs and LaLiga hinted about their NFT project in September 2021.

LaLiga Golazos NFT Marketplace Overview
Like famous NBA Top Shot and NFL All Day, the new Flow-based platform will serve up NFT collectibles based on notable video highlights. LaLiga Golazos will feature the most iconic plays from all the teams from the 2005 season to memorable moments of the current season. Óscar Mayo, Executive Director at LaLiga, explained:
“LaLiga is steeped in history, tradition, and legendary moments and our fans are some of the most passionate in the world and we are excited to offer a new way for them to experience the moments they love. LaLiga Golazos will allows fans to own and collect LaLiga plays and moments from 2005-present.”
Its first batch of NFT collectibles will feature thrilling moments pulled from notable LaLiga rivalries like El Clásico (FC Barcelona vs. Real Madrid CF), the Madrid Derby (Real Madrid CF vs. Atlético de Madrid), the Basque Derby (Real Sociedad vs. Athletic Club), and the El Gran Derbi (Real Betis vs. Sevilla FC).
LaLiga Golazos Moments-based NFTs
Apart from featuring replay highlights and players’ reactions on the pitch, LaLiga Golazos tokenized Moments will include play-by-play narration with statistics of the match and player performance.
Dapper Labs will classify its tokenized Moments into Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary. Rarer Moments NFTs will have a lower mint count. Each NFT will feature LaLiga marks, guaranteeing its authenticity and ownership, all recorded on the Flow network.
Meanwhile, Dapper Labs has signed Atlético de Madrid forward João Félix, FC Barcelona forward Ansu Fati, Real Madrid CF midfielder Luka Modrić, and FC Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen to promote the LaLiga Golazos launch. Dapper Labs will also feature these soccer stars in other promotional content.
