Spring is busy for all of us. You may be feeling overwhelmed and wondering how you can remain productive and increase your personal accountability with so much on your plate. Let’s take a look at a range of ideas and apps that can up your game, keep you focused and move you ahead.

If you’ve read Intero’s blog, “in:form,” for a while you know I am a bit of an app-geek. I like to try them out and while most don’t stick, there are some I love and use every day. In fact, Trello, Slack and Airtable are three of the most valuable apps we use in our business and I use personally to track and manage information and projects.

With so many options at our fingertips, it’s good to check out new apps that can give you that extra boost and give them a 30-day trial. If you find at least one that helps you, it’s a win.

WinStreak® is a simple tool for making sure that, at the end of every day, you feel positive about your accomplishments and excited for the next day.

At the end of each day, regardless of what happened, record what your biggest “wins” were. Then, plan what your biggest wins will be for tomorrow. This will keep you focused on your goals while recognizing and celebrating your achievements—or wins—along the way. WinStreak is one of my favorites.

If you know you waste too much time on digital distractions like Facebook, Twitter, or online shopping, RescueTime can hold you accountable. It breaks down where you spend your time by application and website and lets you set productivity goals.

Productivity extends beyond your work life, and Eternity Time Log recognizes that. Your day is first broken down into three broad chunks: Work, play, and sleep. Within those groups, you can further track your time with different labels and tags, even running multiple timers at once.

You can view the results using colorful pie charts and reports that can be exported to any device. It’s only available for iPad and iPhone.

Goals Wizard integrates the most effective self-development and coaching techniques into an easy-to-use, web-based system that is designed to bring clarity and focus into your life.

Whether you’re going through midlife transition, looking for personal growth and development, a new fulfilling career, or you’re simply trying to find your passion or purpose in life, Goals Wizard is here to help you identify and achieve your goals and aspirations.

Stickk is a web-based platform that allows people to set goals and build an accountability structure around them.

Things 3 is the award-winning personal task manager that helps you achieve your goals.

Week Plan is an online weekly planner that makes you effective rather than just productive.

With one click, the Toggl timer tracks where every second of your time is going, making it ideal for anyone who needs to log billable hours. You can track as many projects or clients as you want, view colorful graphs, export timesheets, and sync your numbers with several project management apps.

Right now, I am working on the difference between urgent and important and it’s hard work for me. Week Plan incorporates this type of prioritization within its product. I will be testing Week Plan out next week.

Lower the overwhelm by incorporating tools that will help you manage the important, the goals and the path to gaining traction and accomplishment.
