Sportradar has announced that it has won the RFP process to power the launch of the Tennis Channel’s direct-to-consumer streaming platform in the US.

The service is expected to be delivered to all tennis fans in the United States of America by early 2024, and per the release aims to create a “seamless, direct-to-consumer experience incorporating dynamic data ingredients and a wide range of user-friendly features.”

Comprehensive suite of Sportradar products to come to Tennis Channel

The Sportradar-powered product will have access to the Tennis Channel’s marquee, 24/7 linear-channel and hours of live and on-demand tennis matches and programming.

The Switzerland headquartered company has had a business affiliation with the Tennis Channel since 2019, where Sportradar agreed a partnership to provide the international OTT platform and became the channel’s global data partner.

Tennis Channel’s direct-to-consumer service will be revamped through Sportradar’s UX design, development of relevant apps for television and technical video encoding and integrations for the backend. This includes a multi-channel video programming distributor to service customers, as well as a dynamic advertising integration.
