Fanatics Sportsbook has continued to grow across North America, as it opens in Wyoming for the first time.

Fanatics Opens In Wyoming To Increase Presence Across North America

It was confirmed by Fanatics, that its sports betting site will go live in Wyoming from May 29th 2024 and become the 21st state to use the sports betting operator.

This now means that Fanatics is available to around 95% of North America’s online sports betting players and offers a range of markets.

Fanatics has made huge strides into the U.S. market in 2024 so far, which has been largely down to the agreement with PointsBet – purchasing the company for $225 million and replacing it in several states.

The sports betting site has opened in a long-list of states in 2024 including, Indiana, New York, Kansas, Arizona and Illinois.

In October 2023, Fanatics finalized the purchase of PointsBet in Wyoming to lead the sports betting markets in WY – while also doing the same thing in New York.

Betting and Gaming CEO at Fanatics, Matt King, highlighted how vital the purchase of PointsBet has been in Fanatics’ goal of expanding across North America.

He said: (Via Fanatics): “The acquisition of PointsBet US has super-charged our expansion plans.”

Players in Wyoming can gain advantages from a host of features on Fanatics, including FanCash, as the company merges its sports betting networks with its growing merchandise site.

The betting company offers 5% FanCash back on wagers, regardless of outcome, which can then be used on the sports betting app or on the clothing site.

IN September 2021, Wyoming legalized sports betting and became the lowest-populated state to offer sports wagering in the U.S.

DraftKings is currently the leading site in Wyoming, with BetMGM, Caesars and FanDuel also increasing in popularity – while ESPN Bet has just obtained a license in WY.

Per the most recent report, Wyoming’s sports betting handle from the four operators has increased by 29% when compared to 2023.
