Caesars Digital will be taking a forward step, as it is now allowing mobile sports bets at the Harrah’s Gulf Coast in Mississippi.
Caesars Digital Take Online Sports Bets At Harrah’s Gulf Coast
Those in the state of Mississippi can now sign up for the Caesars Sportsbook Mississippi app and make deposits across the state – however they have to be at the physical Harrah’s Gulf Coast to bet.
Sports betting is only prohibited at casinos in Mississippi, but gamblers can place mobile sports bets in the casinos premises.
The new mobile betting system in MI will work in cohesion with its on-land buildings and sports betting enthusiasts will be able to access giveaways when staking their initial wagers at Harrah’s Gulf Coast.
Eric Hession, Caesars Digital President, has labeled this new addition to Harrah’s Gulf Coast as a ‘game changer’ and adds to the world-class system at Caesars.
He said: “The launch of our Caesars Sportsbook mobile app at Harrah’s Gulf Coast is a game-changer for sports fans who visit the world-class destination,”
“Enhancing the fan experience remains a key focus for us across jurisdictions where we operate and bringing mobile wagering online in Mississippi builds on that. We look forward to providing an elevated and responsible sports wagering experience to our Biloxi customers going forward.”
Additionally, a new legislation is in the works to change how operators work in Mississippi, as House Bill 774 looks to shift the dynamics within the state.
Rep. Casey Eure and others have sponsored the latest bill and will allow bettors to make sports wagers in all locations instead of just on-land sites.
The bill passed through the Mississippi Senate Gaming Committee during the early stages of April, but the law over retail betting restrictions remained.
This did hinder the bill in some ways as it is yet to fully switch the regulations, but it will still be debated in a House and Senate conference.
