Some analysts are predicting that a brand new eco crypto known as IMPT could well be the investment of the year.

IMPT presale approaches $6m

The IMPT presale is currently underway, and thus far has been a huge success, having raised almost $6m in two weeks.

The presale is being conducted in various stages, meaning that those who participate in the earlier stages of the presale are eligible to buy the token at far cheaper prices than those who participate in the later stages, or who buy IMPT at the listing.

ESG investing continues to expand

According to Broadridge Financial Solutions, the total market cap of ESG companies is expected to have exceeded $30 trillion by the year 2030, and the total market cap of the carbon credit industry is expected to eclipse $50 billion by the same year.

This follows a trend of more companies around the world choosing to invest into ESG companies in order to be socially responsible.

IMPT is hoping to capitalise on this wave of investment going forward. If the project can prove successful at doing this, it will be able to play a large role in the ESG economy when it comes to reducing carbon footprints around the world.

Carbon credits on-chain for responsible shopping

IMPT hopes to incentivise their users to”shop responsibly” by incentivising users of their shopping platform with cashback rewards when they shop with companies that score highly on ESG metrics.

When users spend with any of 25,000+ companies that IMPT have partnered with through their affiliate programme, they can earn IMPT.

Some of these companies are some of the largest in the world, and include giants such as Amazon, River Island, Gamestop and Microsoft.

This IMPT can, in turn, be either traded on the free market, or burned in exchange for an NFT that one can use to showcase their green credentials.

When IMPT is redeemed for these NFTs, the burns means that it becomes extremely deflationary, which ought to further assist the rise in token price, further boosting the justification for IMPT as an investment vehicle.

One of the main benefits of incentivising carbon credits on-chain in this way is that the entire process is far more transparent and efficient than it otherwise could have been – the current systems for processing carbon credits are rather antiquated, and far less efficient than they could be. IMPT will change this.
