Upcoming play-to-earn project Calvaria has now brought in $2.8 million of investment as the RIA token heads for its initial exchange offering at the end of the month.
Only two weeks remain before RIA heads for its IEO on BKEX on January 31, 2023, with future listings also confirmed on LBank and GotBit.
Fewer than 10 million tokens – on sale for $0.0325 – remain available during the presale.
What is Calvaria?
Calvaria is a play-to-earn crypto project that we’ve dubbed one of the best crypto presales around.
It is developing two versions of its flagship game, Duels of Eternity, as it wants to attract casual and traditional gamers onto the blockchain.
The developers have identified two major reasons why GameFi projects are not attracting large players bases – firstly because purchasing expensive NFTs to gain access to games is prohibitive for many and secondly, because some players don’t understand how the blockchain works.
To solve these issues Flags of Eternity is available in both play-to-earn (P2E) and free-to-play (F2P) versions. The latter is a near-carbon copy of the first game, except it has no rewards mechanism.
What it does have, however, is a visible tracker that shows players how much they could have won in the main game and gamified quests that teach players about the blockchain in exchange for rewards.
Duels of Eternity
Duels of Eternity is a battle-card strategy game set in the afterlife that sees players pick from one of three warring factions and face opponents in one-vs-one battles.
Players must stack their decks and use skill, strategy and other assets to win matches in exchange for rewards.
All assets in the main P2E version are ownable as NFTs and can be openly bought and sold on the market, as well as combined to get upgrades.
Unlike many of its rivals, Duels of Eternity is rendered in full 3D and is available to download on mobile via an app.
As well as the main player-vs-player mode, there is also a single-player story mode that not only builds upon the lore of the Calvaria universe but also allows players to earn assets that can be used in other game modes.
Calvaria developers are adopting a seasonal approach to the game to ensure its long-term health and will regularly release new assets, themes and game modes to keep players coming back.
It will also develop an in-house eSports team and plans to host tournaments and invite major eSports teams to compete for huge prizes. Furthermore, Calvaria is also developing virtual reality functionality for Duels of Eternity.
Calvaria has been developed by a doxxed team that has been KYC-verified by CoinSniper, while the RIA token smart contract has been audited by SolidProof.
The game has been built on super-fast and super-efficient Polygon, while investors can also enter a prize draw to win $100,000 of RIA tokens.
