Shiba Racing Team, a non-fungible token initiative between the Shiba Inu ecosystem and racing giant Formula One, has announced a ready plan to launch their new motorsport racing-inspired NFT collection.

Shiba Racing Team To Launch New Racing-inspired NFTs

In a December 16 press release, Shiba Racing Team confirmed plans for a new NFT collection in the metaverse. While commenting about the highly anticipated NFT collection, Jason Scoby, the founder of the Shiba Racing Team, remarked:

“While the metaverse can house innovations and advancement, the gaming industry’s strong presence in the metaverse is eminent, and we strive to provide better & immersive racing experience by launching our meticulously crafted NFTs.”

Formula One announced plans to launch a new NFT collection in October. At the time, the racing giant filed eight trademark applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to bring its racing experience to the metaverse.

Under the new integration, Formula and Shiba Inu anticipate launching new Shiba Racing Team NFTs, giving the user an exclusive racing experience while earning some revenue in the metaverse.

Shiba Racing Team NFTs Overview

The Shiba Racing Team NFT project will feature a limited edition of 9,990 unique ERC-721 standard-based NFTs on the Ethereum Network. The new unique NFTs will feature Shiba Racing Team’s motorsport racers.

The Shiba Racing Team NFT collection will include famous motorsports racers, including Ace (The Shiba Inu), Max (The Bull), Char (The Dragon), Milo (The White Tiger), and Bubbles (The Bear).

The NFT collection will depict the five lead motorsport racers disguised with different traits, including eyewear, headgear, background, and fire suits. The motorsport racing NFT characters feature unique characteristics and abilities.

As per the announcement, these NFTs will enable gamers to create unique strategies and tactics to compete against real-time players worldwide. The winners of the racing tournament will receive digital assets as prizes. However, the Shiba Racing Team has not yet provided a date for the much-awaited launch.
