IMPT is a brand new project that focuses on utilising the blockchain to incentivise individuals to “shop responsibly”. As a green shopping platform, individuals will be actively rewarded for their decisions to shop at leading ESG companies.
IMPT onboards over 25,000 brands to their shopping programme
The IMPT shopping platform is an integral part of the ecosystem, and what allows the entire platform to function.
IMPT has been partnering with a variety of different companies (now over 25,000) in order to facilitate cashback rewards in IMPT.
They have been partnering with onboarding new companies to their ecosystem at an incredibly fast rate, and are currently increasing the number of companies as a part of their programme at a rate of 20% per month.
Some of the companies that they have partnered with include giants such as Amazon, Microsoft, River Island, Gamestop, and more.
All of these companies have been vetted to ensure that they are ESG compliant and all of them have relatively high ESG scores.
Earn rewards for “responsible shopping”
As a green shopping platform, IMPT hopes to reward their users in cashback for spending with companies that are deemed to be socially responsible, according to the three metrics that ESG most values: environmental, social and [corporate] governance.
When one shops via the IMPT platform with companies such as Amazon, they are entitled to earn a percentage of their spending back as rewards in IMPT.
These IMPT rewards can then either be traded, or can be redeemed. The process of redemption involves burning the IMPT rewards (thus making IMPT scarcer) in exchange for carbon credits as NFTs, which individuals can then use to demonstrate how much they are doing for the planet.
Carbon credits on-chain
The current system of carbon credits is rather antiquated and it is extremely difficult for companies to showcase their green credentials.
IMPT’s platform greatly enhances transparency and efficiency by placing carbon credits on the blockchain, and thus far has been hugely successful in their endeavours.

So far, IMPT has successfully raised in excess of $5m at their presale in only two weeks, showing that there is a huge interest in the project going forward and ensuring that they are well-funded to achieve their aims.
