Every now and then, music and astronomy converge to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience. To mark next week’s total solar eclipse, Bonnie Tyler will be performing her hit song “Total Eclipse of the Heart” aboard a cruise ship as the rare celestial event is happening.

Tyler will be performing the popular 1983 song on the Royal Caribbean’s Total Eclipse Cruise, with support from the Joe Jonas-led pop group DNCE, according to Time magazine reports. The week-long cruise departs from Orlando to the Caribbean on Aug. 20 and will be in the eclipse’s path of totality. Tyler and DNCE will sing the song as the moon moves in front of the sun on Aug. 21. Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International, told Time, “Bonnie Tyler was a natural choice for this once-in-a-lifetime moment.”

This will be the first time Tyler performs her hit pop song during the astronomical event. The song, a karaoke favorite that gets more popular around eclipses, has over 302 million views on YouTube. Tyler told Time that while she isn’t nervous about the performance, she had to shorten the song to fit the under-three-minute duration of the eclipse. “It had to be cut down because it was too long. I never expected it to be played on the radio at first.”

The total solar eclipse will be visible from Oregon to South Carolina. The “Great American Eclipse” will travel from coast-to-coast for the first time in 99 years.
